our goal
Audore has one simple goal. That is to create an online community where members can share their own creative works and listen to others creations and in the process create a friendly experience where you can share ideas and learn from others. All music on this site is under a Creative Commons license so you are free to download, use and perform as long as you give credit to the original author.

our method
Unlike most music sites where you can upload files directly to website's web server, Audore does things a little more differently. Instead of browsing for the file on your own computer and uploading it directly our site, we only accept file paths to where your file can be located on the web. Therefore if you have your creative works already on the web somewhere (i.e. your own website), this is great! You simply direct us to where the file is located and we do the rest.

tips for getting free web space
Since Audore does not allow file uploads (maybe in the future), you must already have web space online. Listed below are some free, tried and true, web hosting services:
  • Angelfire - 20Mb disk space, 1Gb bandwidth, with ads
  • Tripod - 20Mb disk space, 1Gb bandwidth, with ads
  • Bravenet - 50Mb disk space, 1.5Gb bandwidth, with ads
  • Nytka (beta) - 500Mb disk space, *unlimited bandwidth, no ads
  
our memberships
Audore memberships are completely free! With a membership you are allowed to rate and comment on each individual music file. Also, you can create a profile for yourself and start adding music. Then you are free to start meeting other creative artists out there and make connections! Want to become a new user?  
the legal stuff
Audore does not accept commercially copyrighted material, only the good ol' creative free stuff. Here are some guidelines to the site:
  1. Music submitted are of your own creative works.
  2. Adding copyrighted materials that are not of your own creative works will result in your membership being banned.
  3. Unless you have otherwise specified, you're track will fall under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.5 License. This means others can...
    • copy, distribute, display, and perform the work
    • make derivative works
    • make commercial use of the work
    • alter, transform, or build upon this work
    ...as long as you attributed for your original work.
  4. Your choosen Creative Common License will appear in each of your track profile pages.

  6. Audore does not take credit for any works submitted to this site. They are strictly yours, the contributor.
Non-commercial Uses...
  • You are free and welcome to download and use any musical selection of this site for podcasts, media and enjoyment as long as you give credit where credit is due.

  • We don't restrict the usage of music for commercial purposes, however some licenses exclude you from using the file for commercial purposes. It is strongly advised that you ask permission from the author before using the file for any commercial purposes.
